Vision: Our passion is to keep the Gospel message sharply in focus and prominent in all of our activities.  Our interest, first and foremost, is about helping individuals and families establish or renew a firm personal relationship with Christ which brings salvation.  We encourage people to connect to Cumberland Church as a means of being nurtured, equipped and active in leadership and ministry.  We are also attentive to the need for children, baptized as infants, to be given the opportunity, at an appropriate maturity level, to make a personal commitment to Christ.

Key Words: Salvation, Forgiveness, Confession, New Creature in Christ, Baptism, Roman Road to Salvation, Sinner’s prayer, Confession of Faith, joining ministries,

Key Scriptures: Rom. 10:9 If you confess with our mouth…you shall be saved; John 1:12 … to all who believed, he gave them the right to be called children of God; II Pet. 3:9 …God is not willing that any should perish…; John 17:21 …that all will know that Jesus is God’s Son; II Cor. 5:20 …we are ambassadors for Christ entreating you....
