About Us

What is a Cumberland Presbyterian? In short, we are a "Presbyterian" body under the "Cumberland" branch. We are not officially organized with other Presbyterian denominations. However, we do consider them sister denominations and have worked with others on various programs. We are a faith community that seeks to nurture and equip one another to become followers of Jesus. We believe all humanity is created in the image of God and are worthy of love. We at FCPC are inspired, empowered, and used by God to change lives with the love of Jesus Christ. We share different views and perspectives; striving to create a space for growth and ministry.

You can get involved by worshipping with us *in person or by live stream on Sunday's at 11:00 am.

We offer classes for various ages and on an array of topics. Small groups consist of our Kid Connection, Young Adult Ministry, The BBQ Bunch (45 - 65), and Senior Adult Ministry.

Love! Scripture tells us Faith, Hope, and Love remains, but the greatest is LOVE. Scripture also reminds us "Nothing can separate us from the love of God." (Rom. 8:38)

God is Love and God loves all of creation. Therefore, we are inspired to share this love with the world around us. We aren't perfect.  We are a community made up of all kinds of backstories and experiences. Sometimes, love is the only thing that has gotten us through.

We believe God is revealed in Jesus Christ & is at work everywhere in creation. We believe humanity does not always live in the love God has called us, causing harm to self & neighbor. We need wholeness, which is salvation, offered to us by Jesus Christ. Scripture serves as the story of faith throughout the ages & as our guide for Christian living. We practice two sacraments, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper/Communion.
